At the time of application, you can choose whether you want a handset or SIM only. Initial and monthly fees are the same for both.

One card (one unit) per name is required for new applications. If you wish to place an additional order, please contact us as the guidance will differ depending on the number of additional cards.

Is it possible to make a corporate contract?
Both individual and corporate customers can apply.

The minimum subscription period is one month and will be automatically renewed until cancelled. The deadline for cancellation at the end of the current month is the 20th of each month, after which the cancellation will be made at the end of the following month.
Anyone 18 years of age or older may apply as a subscriber. However, those who are 18-19 years old must have the consent of a person with parental authority when applying. A person 18 years of age or older can be the subscriber and you can be the user. In this case, please upload the identification documents of the subscriber, not the user. If you are under 18 years old, you cannot be the subscriber.

We accept credit cards and debit cards (some prepaid cards).

In the case of debit cards, the amount will be deducted from the issuing customer's bank account.
Therefore, please note that payment cannot be made unless the bank account has more than the amount of the usage fee by the first day of each month.

Regardless of whether it is the "current month" or the "next month," the administration fee and the first month's usage fee will be paid immediately upon initial application. From the next payment, payment will be made on the first day of each month.

Please contact your credit card company for the date of debit.
Receipts will be automatically sent to your registered e-mail address after payment is completed.
Receipts will be issued in the name of the credit card.
We do not calculate on a daily basis.

If an error occurs when entering credit card information, the causes may be as follows

・Expired card
・Incorrect card number, expiration date, security number, or card name
・Unsupported brand card
・Exceeded credit limit
・Excessive credit limit

If the problem persists after checking the above, we will not be able to help you. Please contact the credit card company that issued the credit card.

・Device JT101
Maximum downlink speed is 150 Mbps / maximum uplink speed is 50 Mbps.

・SIM card
Maximum downlink speed is 187.5Mbps / maximum uplink speed is 37.5Mbps.

*Because this is a best-effort system, communication speed may decrease or become unavailable depending on line congestion, the terminal used, the area used, and other factors.

SoftBank "Hybrid 4G LTE" high-speed mobile line.

Basically, there is no limit on communication speed as long as it is within the monthly data capacity of each plan.
If you exceed the data capacity, the communication speed will be 128 kbps until the end of the current month.
For more information about the data capacity of each plan, please refer to "What is the difference between the plans?" under the "Application/Contract" tab. for the data capacity of each plan.

*Limitations may be imposed in the event of unauthorized use or network-occupying level of large-volume communications. From the perspective of maintaining network quality and fair use of the airwaves, domestic and foreign telecommunications companies may restrict communication speed for customers who engage in illegal downloading or other abusive use, or engage in large-volume communication at a level that significantly occupies the network. We will not impose restrictions unless the use is as described above. However, the speed may decrease depending on the area of use and the terminal used.

This service is for domestic use only and cannot be used overseas.

Apple recommends downloading iOS under a stable communication environment (Wi-Fi network).
Due to the nature of SIM cards (4G network), OS updates are deprecated due to the large data volume and the possibility of losing communication in the process.
If you are having trouble downloading large amounts of data, please try downloading several times, and if the download still fails, please connect to an optical fixed-line Wi-Fi network and download.

Nomad SIM does not offer tethering options. However, tethering or similar functions may be available depending on the device used.

・iOS devices
Tethering cannot be used with iPhone/iPad.

・Android devices
Tethering or portable Wi-Fi access point settings are available.
※Android Tethering may not be available on some Android OS devices.

・Other devices
Combination with SIM-free mobile router is available.

Receiving is free of charge and can be set up for app verification, 2-step verification, etc. Sending is not available.
Since this is a SIM card for data communication, you cannot make phone calls. If you wish to make a call, please use a calling application such as "LINE" or "WeChat".

Although physically possible, it is not possible to obtain a fixed IP address.

Since the SIM card is a dynamic IP address, care must be taken when using a VPN connection.

*The IP address changes when the power is turned on/off or when the line is switched.

Nomad SIM is a multi SIM (with adapter) and can be cut into nano sim, micro sim and standard sim.

Please keep the adapter in a safe place, as you will need it when changing from a smaller size to a larger size.

If you lose the adapter, a SIM reissue fee of 3,000 yen (3,300 yen including tax) will be charged.

Battery replacement is available for a fee.
Battery cost: 3,000 yen (3,300 yen including tax)
After payment is completed, we will ship a new battery free of charge.

※As stated in our Terms and Conditions, we will replace the battery free of charge within 8 days; battery replacement after 8 days will be charged.

This product does not come with a charger (AC adapter). It must be provided by the customer.
It is recommended to use a charger that supports 2.0A or higher. (The product may not be charged if the amperage is too low.)

Please understand that we are not responsible for any accidents or malfunctions caused by the charger provided by the customer.

There is no problem in communicating while charging.
However, when charging before going to bed or while not using the device for communication, please turn off the device before charging to prevent the battery from running low and deteriorating over time.

To conserve battery power, it is recommended to turn off the power when the product is not in use.

You will be charged 8,000 yen (8,800 yen including tax) for the handset.
We will send you a new handset after payment. If you lose the SIM card, you

will be charged 3,000 yen (3,300 yen including tax) to reissue a new SIM card.

There is no warranty option.

As the price is the same as the SIM card only, this is a simple mobile router. If you are concerned, we recommend that you sign up for a SIM card only.

It is normal for the device to heat up and is not a malfunction.

It is a normal phenomenon and is not a malfunction or initial defect. If you are concerned about the heat generation, move the product to a dry and well-ventilated place where the temperature will naturally cool down.

We ship same-day at the earliest. Same-day shipping is available until 12:00 p.m. on weekdays; after that, we will ship on the next business day.

There is no charge for the initial shipping fee when you sign up and for the shipping fee for reissuing a SIM card for resizing.
However, please note that customers are responsible for shipping charges for malfunctions, loss, water damage, etc.
In addition, customers are responsible for shipping charges when cancelling a contract.

After the shipment is completed, we will notify you by e-mail with the tracking number.

The multi-SIM (with adapter) allows you to cut it into nano sim, micro sim, and standard sim.

・If we cannot confirm the return of the returned items by the due date, you will be charged for one month's usage fee if you use more than 1GB of data communication after the month of cancellation.
・If the returned items are found to be lost or broken, the following charges and equipment damage fees may apply.

After purchase, you will receive an email with the QR code attached to your registered email address. You can use the service after setup.

The QR Code is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.
30-day plans are available for 30 days after activation. (180 days for the Round Trip plan).
However, Korea is calculated based on the number of days, not data capacity.
After you finish using the purchased data capacity, you can communicate at a maximum of 128 kbps until the end of the usage period.
However, for plans in the U.S., Hawaii, and Canada, data usage will be suspended when you finish using your data.

※This service may not be available depending on the OS or device.
Since eSIM plans are data-only, phone calls and SMS using a phone number are not available. However, phone functions using VoIP applications such as LINE and Skype are available.
After setting up with the QR code distributed after purchase, turn on data roaming in the country of use to start communication.
If you cannot read the QR code, please enter the code we will send you along with the QR code into your device's settings screen to manually add an eSIM.
Nomad SIM's eSIM plans support credit, debit, and prepaid cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The communication line to be connected differs depending on the country.

Since eSIM plans are data-only, SMS with a phone number is not available.
There is no monthly fee for this buy-in eSIM data plan.
There is no recharge function. If you wish to continue to use the system, please purchase additional units.
After purchase, the plan cannot be changed because it is on standby for activation.
Receipts will be automatically sent to your registered e-mail address after payment is completed.
Receipts will be issued in the name of the credit card.
The administration fee is 300 yen, but is currently free of charge due to a release campaign. There are no other initial costs.
A "Round Trip Plan" is a data plan that can be used in multiple countries.

While regular plans require you to purchase and switch eSIMs each time you go to different countries, the Round Trip Plan can be used in multiple countries once it is set up.
Even if you run out of data, you can use it for 180 days at a maximum speed of 128 Kbps.
This service is available to both individuals and corporations.
This service is available on SIM lock-free WiMAX terminals.

When using a WiMAX terminal, please change the terminal setting to "High-Speed Plus Area Mode". Depending on the terminal, a limit of up to 7 GB per month may be displayed, but this is not a problem.

※Please note that the connection may be unstable in some areas due to the specifications of the frequency band supported by the handset.
Due to the nature of the product, eSIM plans cannot be returned or refunded.
QR codes cannot be reissued.
If you want to use it on a different device, you will need to purchase it again.
Please be careful not to delete the QR Code after setting it up.
The QR code sent to you after purchase can only be used once.
It cannot be reissued, so please set it up on your device before use.
